Mossflower Country

Mossflower Country is a blend of symphonic and electronic instruments designed to take the listener on a musical journey over a rich landscape. Each track represents a place, character, or event that is typified in the “Redwall” series of books by Brian Jacques. The idea is to feel like you are watching a movie only by creating the visual landscape and action in your head (much like reading these good books). The music ranges from peaceful, happy, exciting and adventurous to sorrowful, dangerous, and downright evil!
Laura’s debut album brings storytelling to a new level. Each track represents a place, character, or event that is in most of the typical Redwall books. Non readers of the Red Wall series also will appreciate the music for it's depth, color and the little touches like the sound effects sprinkled throughout. The music comes alive in a great scope of emotions and visual imagery without sounding “cartoony”.
